        The Volunteers and the Arlington Colts had ‘pink out’ night to show support to breast cancer on January 15. The vols won by a score of 73-44. The major key that the volunteers had was their three point shooting and their fast break.

The leading scorers were Junior, Donoven Davenport and Sophomore, Kyler Edwards both with 17 points. As the Colts was lead by Tyron Mitts with 15 points. The colts struggled on offense with 7 turnovers. Bowie scored 10 points off of the colts turnovers. The volunteer defense played with seven steals and four blocked shots.  

Power forward Nathan Buana had 10 points and got to the free throw like three times and he also had 7 rebounds, two steals and four assists.

“Getting easy buckets because we are a faster team than them so our main goal is to trap them and score easy buckets and get better on defence and get better at make our free throws,” Buana said.
