As of May 24, 2017 I believe that the MVP winner will be Russell Westbrook. I think Westbrook will win because he played the best this whole season and in the postseason also. Westbrook Averaged a triple-double( assist, points, rebounds are all in double digits) in the regular season. He had 42 triple-doubles which broke the record of Oscar Robertson with 41. Most people say that James Harden should win MVP because of the number he put up but Westbrook put up way more than he did so I think that he shouldn’t even be in the conversation with Westbrook.

On May 24th, 2017 I have asked some people who they think the MVP will be this NBA season for 2017 and most of them said Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and Lebron James. In my opinion all those were good answers but to me I believe Russell Westbrook should win MVP for 2017 because 42 Triple-Doubles and that is a record that he has broken and that is hard to do. Also, he mostly averages a triple double almost every game and that is really impressive compared to the others, so in my opinion if Russell Westbrook doesn’t win then there will be a couple of fans, people, general managers, coaches and teammates, then most of them will be disappointed that he didn’t get MVP for after all the hard work he did.
